I watched this film on OTV and I loved it. As an Egyptian American, I could especially relate to Hams, but I also related to everyone's conflict with either staying or leaving Cairo. It is often a love hate relationship with this land. All my life I have felt torn between two worlds and have always been on this quest to feel comfortable and fit in some place. This film made me not feel so alone.

I'd like to see more films like this...good luck with future endeavors.

I also watched this film on OTV. I thought Sebae was hysterical! He captured the Egyptian humour!

This is a hot topic amongst my university friends, as we often talk about where we will work after graduation. Many of my friends apply for jobs abroad, but have mixed feelings about the possibility of moving so far away from home.

Who knows what the future holds for us!

I saw your film on OTV a while ago and then was just talking about it with a friend when we found this website.

Good idea.

As a 26 year old engaged woman, I related to the young engaged couple. Starting a new life can be so expensive and often feels unreachable! Sometimes I think it will never happen. It takes so much planning just to be happy with someone and I worry about the future and the expenses that come along with children.

That all said, I enjoyed the movie a lot.

Hello,

I am a professor in the Middle Eastern studies department of a US university and I recently purchased the film on Amazon. This film is a great foundation to facilitate discussions about cultural similarities and differences, happyness, family relationships etc Just to name a few! I am looking forward to my class discussions when I show it next month.

Keep up the good work, Tamer! Looking forward to watching future films.
